Is SEOLinkMonster.com Worth the Purchase?

Is SEOLinkMonster.com Worth the Purchase?

If a seasoned blogger is worth his salt, he or she would know that the race to the top of Google's search results is not just about adding content that have the desired keywords.  It's also about getting the number of links floating around the internet that point back to your website as a reference.  These are called backlinks.  The better and more commanding these websites are regarding their niche, the more effective that backlink is in bringing Google's attention to your website.

This is what the brothers Matt and Bradd Callen found out while looking for a way to sell items online.  The idea was introduced by a person named Dori Friend, who may not be known for building software, but is recognized as an authority in the SEO world.  The two other brothers are known for the different offerings they have in the field of internet marketing, a lot of which work at an average or above average pace.

When the group got together, they came up with the idea to create a system that should be able to help any website increase their Google search rankings.  Working with the concept of backlinking, they created a number of blogs that are unrelated to each other, then tied them up to a main tool that could automatically submit articles with links to selected websites.  This main website then became the backbone of SEOLinkMonster.com.

Of course the new tool was not entirely work free.  Essentially, the customer still had to come up with the content to place on the websites that are related to SEOLinkMonster.com.  This was done on the website itself, and it was extremely convenient because of the word spinning software that was readily available on submission page.  An article can be written, spun, and submitted all through one single website.

The website and its tools were extremely convenient.  The next question though was, how effective was it in getting websites onto the Google search area.  The initial answer to this question was yes.  A lot of websites, especially in the first two months of its launch, shot up to the first page of a web search using their desired keywords.  The system worked well and generated a lot of success stories among their customers, until Google came in to slap their wrists.

Not a lot of people know the extent of the punishment that Google does to people who try to play with the algorithms of their search engines, or how long this could last.  The fact that everyone did notice though was that all the aged blogs used in the network for SEOLinkMonster.com were taken out of the Google index, making the links completely useless.  Some sites which were also linked back to were also taken off the search lists completely, putting those sites totally out of business.

Since then, some people have been trying to rebuild the websites to bring them back to their full potential.  Among the steps that were taken were: a) delete the backlinks that Google considered as spam, and then send a request letter to the company asking for reconsideration.  This has had an effect on some, but would come with additional workload because new links need to be made to the site.  The other was b) delete the whole website completely and establish it with a new domain, without a redirect.  This is starting totally from scratch, but some of the content can be used, and that would increase the site's ranking.

This is a truly sad story for the Callen brothers, but it did provide some success for some people for a while.  The bottom line of this is, one must be careful when putting the moneymaking websites onto a program that is not yet tried and tested.  So far, nothing has been better than hard work, and that is applicable to any field.

Is Blogging with John Chow Really Worth the Purchase?

Is Blogging with John Chow Really Worth the Purchase?

The introduction of blogging to the world has once again given people hope that they can get the job that they dream of: a job that will not require them to leave the house, and yet give them a full day's wage.  It also comes with the bonus that runs along the lines of having more than enough time for family, friends and other things that holders of a regular day job can only dream about.

Of all the people who have tried the world of blogging though, only very few have successfully achieved this dream.  The frustration of the unsuccessful has then lead to an increase in the number “magic programs” that would allow your website or blog to become a cash cow overnight and allow you to spend the rest of your life living in luxury.  Most of these, of course, turn out to be explicit scams aimed at taking money from those who wish to get rich quick.  This is why Blogging With John Chowis a site that will not be easily accepted.

Upon accessing the site, one gets to read a lot of hype about John Chow and how his site has become one of the highest rated and income generating sites in the whole world.  It has a video of John Chow speaking of what he has to offer, as well as one of a client who praises what John has done for him.  What one would notice though, other than the 60 day guarantee that most scams would offer, is that John Chow does not mention that this is a program that needs to be uploaded, or that it will be an instant success.  Instead, he says that work needs to be done, and that his material will act as a guide.

A quick peak at the members area shows something entirely different.  Most of the other sites would offer a number of downloads or state that the material would be delivered in a few days.  With Blogging With John Chow, you have immediate access to the material, broken down in the following manner:

Modules – There are a total of nine modules that are available on the site, with each module tackling an essential area of blogging.  Each module is broken down into a number of sub-modules with their own titles, so that members can easily go back to where they were when they previously left off.

These modules tackle items such as blogging basics, building your brand, creating great content, traffic building strategies and other topics and tips that are aimed at making your blog a master of a certain niche.  This is because once the site is considered a really good one, it will be easy to redirect traffic to it at any time of the day.

30 Day Action Plan – This is a step by step course that one could follow to make a site or blog a success.  These activities will just take a few hours a day, and they point out the exact things that should be done and what the objectives are for the said activities.  This would be best done after completing the modules.

Support – This allows direct contact to John Chow, who is always willing to help out fellow bloggers achieve success.

To set expectations, this is not a magical formula as one would think it is.  It is a compilation of the experiences of a master blogger that has lead him to become the success that he is today.  Some of his ideas may not sit well with other bloggers, but do know that this is what he has been doing for the past eight years, and he is providing you full access to it.

Is it a good purchase?  Personally, I will say yes.  Is it the end-all and be-all of things?  I would say no.  Learning is good, and learning from the experiences of another is very good.  However, do not end there.  Be willing to open your mind, experiment with the tools that are available and move on to be a great success.  This is a great tool to start your blogging career.
